My wife & I came to hotel for a joint 50th Birthday party & stayed the night. What a fanatstic venue for any type of occasion, the food was organised by the hotel & was absoloutly amazing during the party especially the bacon rolls. Breakfast was busy but plenty to choose from the cooked buffet, we thoroughly enjoyed it. When we arrived home I received an email from the hotel to say Leah from Housekeeping had found my Wifes purse which she accidently left in the room, Leah gave the purse to Mandy at reception who then contacted me & arranged the purse to posted back to me straight away, my wife was very grateful to have her purse back. Thank you to all the hotel staff for a very pleasant stay & the amazing customer service.

I had high hopes coming here after 6 days in another hotel a bit north,the room, people all good. Dinner was the burger, for 19 quid I expected more than 10 chips, also, stop serving food on roof slate and chips in a bucket, it doesn't validate higher prices. Re the room, couldn't get iplayer, itvx, or more 4 to work, the freeview only did audio, luckily a previous occupant left their sign on to prime so I got to watch something.

We got married here on Saturday. From the start of our wedding preparations till the day after our wedding all staff went above and beyond. Libby, Emily, Charlotte and all involved made our day so special. We had such a wonderful experience here and highly recommend this hotel. Libby made us feel at ease and also did personal touches. I could write an essay on this hotel and would love to do it all over again if we could. 20 stars

Fantastic venue for wedding breakfast. The team went above and beyond for everything to make sure our day was special. Libby, Emily and the whole team were absolutely stellar. The chefs need a shout out because the standard of food was Michelin star quality. Absolutely zero complaints, only multiple compliments about the venue, service, food and accommodation. I’ve since been to other Best Western owned venues for wedding receptions and truly, they were lacklustre compared to the Ivy Hill Hotel. Cannot recommend this venue enough.

Wonderfully managed and so attentive. Our arrival and booking was due to a buisness trip, staying on an evening in conjuction with a party taking place and therfore the main resteraunt was closed - Howerver the ever resourceful staff member individually catered for us as guests - sought out the resteraunt manager and an ample amount of staff who took our orders, served us from both the bar and kitchen and provided us with the mist delicious food - gourmet and expertly cooked. Breakfast the following morning was a delight with an ample amount of selctions including smoked salmon, breakfast parfaits and a cheese selection. Wonderful stay.

Super stay at the Ivy Hill Hotel, staff and Management team excellent. The room with 4 poster bed was very good.

Booked the Ivy Suite for my husband's surprise 50th birthday. The staff could not have been more brilliant. From the event planning by Charlotte Eyley to the actual team on the day, they were all great and accommodated all of our requests. The food was exceptional and we received loads of positive comments about it. Great value for money too. Would definitely recommend!

Not impressed to be honest with this hotel. Originally called to book a room using a best western voucher which was purchased for me. Staff originally wouldn’t accept it but said they would call me back the following day to confirm, this didn’t happen so I called head office who were extremely disappointed that the hotel didn’t know the process they then booked me a room and told me not to worry and the hotel would accept it and that they would touch base with them and explain what needed to be done. I then called the hotel to let them know the booking had been made but no answer called 3/4 times no answer finally got through to some one who said they were not part of the main team and some one would call me back again no call back. Turned up for my stay smooth check in process voucher accepted. Rooms were average not luxurious as stated. Breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had sausages were raw, bacon had bones in it? How is this even possible? hash browns a soggy mess as if they had been steamed! raised this with the restaurant to be told it’s only a few items and they have checked the rest and there ok! Outrageous 🙄 All in all a bad experience and the voucher in my view was wasted.

After getting married at Ivy Hill Hotel 7 years ago we celebrated our 7th year here again, we stayed for one night and the room was clean & comfortable. We really enjoyed our time here, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. We dined at Bartellas within the Hotel and the food was incredible! The breakfast was equally as good too. We can't wait to come back again soon

Lovely hotel. Ample parking. Beautiful grounds. Great location. Room super clean and spacious. Food was amazing and well presented. And really good prices. Staff excellent. Look forward to my next visit.

Had a voucher given to us for afternoon tea. Table booked for 12.30 Wednesday 5/6/24. Everything was perfect, young waiter who served us was attentive and had time for a chat as it was quiet due to midweek, that’s the time to go. Toilets were clean with plenty of parking including two disabled bays. We enjoyed the experience with us buying a voucher after as a present for a relative.
